Folium Forlag founded in 1998 in Norway and with branch offices in Portugal (Porto and Lisbon), provides its expertise services in the areas of literary, technical, legal and current translation, revision and certification. We stand out for our high level of professionalism, responsibility and confidentiality.
Folium Forlag in Norway and in Portugal has got translators specialized in various languages and areas of work.
We choose mother tongue translators. Some of them are in their origin countries, which is important for their updating and linguistic skills in their mother and transmission language.
Every project has a coordinator who conciliates the client’s order, the translator’s work and the reviser’s intervention. The final result is the coordinator’s responsibility.
Consular or notarized Certification of any translated document or text. The sworn translation made by Folium Forlag is valid in Portugal, Norway, Sweden, United Kingdom and other European countries.
Apostille: legalisation of documents, according to the Hague convention, by placing an apostille.
Localisation is an intervention to adapt some content to a regional and cultural variant. In the destination language linguistic adaptations are made in order to give response to the reader’s cultural, regional, social and linguistic demands.
