Folium Forlag organizes Portuguese courses for foreigners, individual or in group, in the various levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (from level A1 to level C2).
Courses are taught by teachers with high education on languages and are based on the thematic communicative and grammar contents of the five levels of the Association of Language Testers in Europe (ALTE).
In our courses, besides Portuguese language, culture and literature classes, we promote students’ familiarisation with the local culture by promoting the organization of touristic tours, guided visits and get-together dinners. We also organize students’ stay from their reception at the airport or train station, hosting at hotel or residential, etc.
At the end of each level, Folium issues a certificate of course conclusion. For students have an official certificate, we prepare them for the examinations (CIPLE, DEPLE, DIPLE, DAPLE, DUPLE) in the Centro de Avaliação do Português Língua Estrangeira (CAPLE). We will supply all information on these examinations all along classes or at the end of the course.
Courses take place at Folium Forlag’s branch office, Rua da Constituição 814, 5º andar, s/31 in the centre of Porto, next to squares, gardens, gymnasiums and great restaurants. We are served by various public transports, inclusive the subway Marquês station 300 metres away from Folium Forlag.
